There isn't much to know about me. I'm 18, I'm an avid Tolkien fan - just like the rest of you I'm sure. Although I love the films to death, I am a book purist. I'm a fan of heavy metal of many genres - namely thrash, folk, death, and random bands of other genres. I've been reading mythology since I was a little girl, along with fairytales and the bible - so I am very familiar with Norse, Greek, Celtic, Aztec and Christian mythology (yes, that shit's mythology too). It took me a long time (when I was much younger) to differentiate all the stories though and to categorize them in my mind, but I grew up with them all and recognize specific things that Tolkien himself borrowed from everything. I've read every single one of Tolkien's novels, and own them all, including the two newest that his son published; The Children of Húrin and The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún.

Other things I do off-Tolkien... I play World of Warcraft - that's mainly what I do with my time nowadays is that. I'm a massive geek - I've got a level 80 druid (Aelfthryth), 80 shaman (Jarisleif) and 80 death knight (Deianeira), only one of which I raid with seriously though - the shaman. If anyone's interested in playing with me, hit me up - I'm located on Arathor (US) on Alliance. Other things I like to do are artsy things. I'm very musical and I like drawing and painting - pretty good at all of it. I'm certainly not book smart and I barely graduated high school, after failing a few courses already the year before I graduated from it.

That being said, I accept requests from mostly everyone on MySpace as long as you seem to have something in common with me. I rarely accept friends on Facebook though unless I actually know you, or you actually add a message saying where you're from or how you found me. Just saying. :]

Okay, not that serious, but I do free web-related services for people for people who like my style or who are unable of making their own [InsertItemHere].
So here are the things that I can do for people:

1) Banners.
2) Avatars/Icons.
3) Layout Design.
4) Layout Coding.
5) Help with installing scripts (mainly CutePHP/CuteNews)
6) Misc. Graphics

Rules: Banners
- Every banner will be sized 700x150px, unless you state a specific size.
- Every banner will have "HaldirOfLorien.com" signed in a corner in a small, but viewable font. Please do not Photoshop it out. It is there for a reason.
- No banner may be claimed for your own or be redistributed on your own site. If you wish to redistribute, please ask my permission first.
- When e-mailing me with a request, please include specific details on what you want (ex., subject, film, pictures, colour scheme, text, fonts, style...).
- Last, but not least... I only do Tolkien/LotR banners. Sorry, but the only thing I can stand to stare at all day is anything LotR-related.

Rules: Avatars
- Every avatar will be sized 100x100px, unless otherwise specified by you.
- No avatar may be claimed for your own or be redistributed on your own site. If you wish to redistribute, please ask my permission first.
- When e-mailing me with a request, please state specific details on what you want (ex., subject, film, pictures, colour scheme, text, style...).
- I will do avatars on any film. Unless the film is LotR, you must include a picture/screencap that you would like me to use.


Rules: Layout Design and Coding
- Since I am not a greedy, money-loving git, all layouts will be done for free, so no complaints on the turnouts, because I am doing you a free favour.
- I will code a link back to my site in a visible area of the layout. Do not remove or displace my link. I mean look, if I am making you a layout for FREE, the least you could do is allow me to take my credit.
- When e-mailing me with a request, you MUST be very specific. You must state your header size, layout style, background style, colour scheme, layout scheme, etc... and you must include pictures for me to use.
- All layouts coded by me will be in PHP, no arguments.
- You will get 5 things in total: a header banner, a header page, a footer page, a CSS and an Index page.
- If you don't understand how it works, feel absolutely free to ask me... I am quite patient ;-)

Please e-mail me if you want any of these things done for you by me! Additional rules may be given in reply to your e-mail, and you must agree to them before I fill your request.
