Not much is new here, except a few new affiliates. They are all absolutely amazing... please visit them, and Radio Rivendell... my favourite site. That radio station is my oxygen.

That's PROBABLY about it for now. All that I remember anyway. My old domain, Elven-Runes.com, is currently sitting there idly with nothing in it. If you type it into your browser or click on a link, it'll just take you to HaldirOfLórien.com. BUT, I spent the entire night creating a whole new beautiful layout (and coding it all on my own!) to use for Elven-Runes.com... it'll become my site collective, and it will stay that way (unless a good HTML-er friend is willing to create a Tolkien-related site WITH me) until the domain expires. And if I grow attached to it then, I probably will renew it.

No changes have been made, because I am unable to log into my FTP. *weep*
And since that has been really depressing, I went and made myself a new layout for my future collective site. It's REALLY nice, and it's really quite different from THIS site. I like it though.. I will most definitely post a link when it's up (can't log into that either). I coded it on my own though, which I am very proud of (though the coding is a tad messy)... and I am officially sleep-deprived because of it. I haven't slept for goodness knows how many days.

Alright, so HOW does one keep track of ALL the drastic changes that have happened to their site in one small day? I certainly can't do it... so I'll just throw down what I remember.

Yay... I just made a million new link back buttons because I felt the old ones were too appalling.

Yesterday, I joined like... a hundred thousand fanlistings out of sheer boredom. Yes, I know.. I'm a freak.

I also got two new affiliates, Unseen Shadows and Rose at her lovely graphics site, Heart of Stars.

Gallery
I promise to organise that soon... and switch them all from bitmaps to something else. You know there is a problem when your own site freezes your computer like mad.

New pages
New merchandise page for Haldir/LotR-related merchandise! There isn't anything on it yet though, just a link to a shop.
I also have Craig's biography page up and running, so that should be nice.

23 Jul 2007 - New smiley things

I just made myself eight new smilies, just for updates. They are SO ugly that I absolutely MUST abuse the little buggers. They're supposed to blend with the text, and they're doing a marvelous job of it. I'm currently contemplating making thumbnails for my gallery, instead of having it the lazy way, because everytimg I go to my own gallery, my computer freezes. Very sad, I know.

I also have a new affiliate: Rose @ Evenstar Dreams. Your site is beautiful, Rose.. hannon le!

I NEARLY forgot that Haldir was in the scene "The Battle of the Hornburg"!!!!!11 BAD Haldir... er... BAD me, I meant.

So... I took the time to rip that scene out of the film and to put it in the downloads section for all of you rare Haldir fans to ogle at.

I also spent the WHOLE of my god-forsaken day to clean my junkyard of a room, for one reason: ant-infestation in the back corner. It is a complete pain, and I hate cleaning. Anyway...
... back to my horrendous cleaning.

Alright, my little Haldir fans that are actually watching this page... I have finally decided to get to work and supply a larger variety of downloads for those of you who are actually interested... today I've cut four beautiful scenes (obviously all containing Haldir) from the LotR DVD's and I've added them to the downloads section. Obviously, this is really seriously tempting me to rip the entire DVD and upload the Trilogy to the web, but I'll probably get sued or something if I did that.

Anyway, I said I'd shrink the scenes down a bit later on... the "Lothlórien" one is obviously fine, because the ENTIRE scene is Haldir, but scenes like "Caras Galadhon" and "Retreat to the Hornburg" have very little of Haldir in it.... and it's taking up loads of memory. I'll have to cut out only the parts with Haldir in them. So download those full scenes while you can!

I'll also be adding some music in a short while: Lothlórien, Caras Galadhon, Isengard Unleashed [Haldir's Lament], and the Passing of the Elves (nothing to do with Haldir, but it's pretty!). Once I SOMEHOW get a hold of the TTT Extended soundtrack, I'll have for you "The Host of the Eldar". It's my favourite...

I also have new site buttons here, in case anyone was looking for them... I changed them after changing my domain and site name.

20 Jul 2007 - New domain!

That's right! What was once "Elven-Runes.com" is now "HaldirOfLórien.com"! If any of my dear affiliates are reading this, please change the URL. Elven-Runes.com will be disappearing in February, so it'd be nice to update my link before that. The reason I changed it was because... actually... there is more than one reason.

1. There is already a Tolkien-related site that's too close to Elven-Runes.com: ElvenRunes.com. It's a MUME site, which would be more known than a simple Haldir/Parker fan site, since it's for MUME.. people.

2. MANY people think that I made a typo when picking domains, and they insist that "ELVEN" should be spelled "ELEVEN" because they don't realise that Elven = Elves, not a number.

3. Elven runes doesn't have much to do with Craig.

4. I don't have any Elven runes on my site. Lol.

13 Jul 2007 - Avatar-happy!

Mhm, I am currently going through an avatar-happy phase; I can't stop making them. I just added another four to Haldir avatars. They look really bright and contrasty, but I think that may be better than some overblurred avatars I see a lot of. 'Cept my "fading away" one, but that was motion-blurred, not gaussian-blurred. I just downloaded a 30-day trial of Photoshop and I love it. I can do literally anything with it. And I think that this one has ImageReady and Photoshop squashed into Photoshop, so that makes it so much easier to work with. It's got so many features! *huggles*

Anyhoodles...

I'll keep on making 'em. Requests to my e-mail are allowed. Thanks to "mrs strider ♥" for asking.
